Hello Everyone!!!
Manu here with a couple of cards I made with the PABD April Release!
You all must have seen the April release and I totally love this release, it has something to cater for everybody, from Mixed Media to Baby stamps, it has critter stamps too and a cute little FriendSheep Stamp designed by our very own Indian Designer!!! You would be amazed to know that Deepthi Stephens has designed two stamp sets from this release and both of them are utterly cute!!
Here's what I made, I have tried using a lot of stamp sets here and will showcase which stamp sets are used in which creation!
Will talk about the how-to's in a while, meanwhile, do checkout this months Challenge, which is all about making any two using the same stamp set. Read all about the challenge here
Challenge #5
Lets talk about the cards that I made!!!
#1: Northern Lights inspired baby card !!
Nothern lights is a super awesome natural phenomenon that happens in Norway!! If you are not aware about it, do google!!! Basically, these light are a result of the collision of the gaseous particles with the charged particles released from the Sun's atmosphere. It is something worth looking at. I do remember seeing a show about the glass globes as dorms for people to stay in the night and see the spectacle happen in the mornings!! Some day...
I have a little tutorial on this one, I did capture the pictures, but somehow, my data card didn't popped it up. I'll sure update the pics for this one as soon as i recover them!
Here's just one pic that i could recover.
I took a circular die cut and dabbed it with the Mustard seed distress ink at 3 random places, followed by Peeled paint, dusty concord, moved lawn and salty ocean.
Remember that you do not have the blend the inks, just random dabbing and covering up the areas. Lastly I dabbed black soot around the edges nicely to give it a misty look.
Do try out this technique. It's sure fun!

Here's another card made with the same stamp set:
I totally love making baby creations and love the cute elephant along with the mobile!!!
This card was pretty simple, I took my MFT rectangular die and got the panel diecut at various locations. I'm using the negative of the dit cut here. Then I took my base card and dabbed moved lawn distress ink at various locations keeping in mind the location of my diecut. Adhered the panel on the base using the foam and then stamped, coloured and fuzzy cut the cute baby items.
#2 Friendsheep sheepy!
Totally love this stamp set designed by Deepthi!!! These sheeps are way too cute!!
Here's the stamp set I used:
This one is a mini stamp set and something that will really pop up your creations!!!
Checkout the three tags I made using this stamp set.
Very easy peasy: I took the base tag as 6*2 inches and then used a little distressing in the middle to highlight the background where my sheep's would come. I then took another sheet and stamped the sheeps and the flower pot, coloured using the Zig Clean pens and then fuzzy cut them ! Struck them onto the tag using the foam tape to add dimension!! Super Easy! and cute tooo !!
#3 Flowers in a Jar
Now this stamp set is my most favorite from this release and I really cannot stop making creations using this one!! This set offers really nice combinations of flowers in a jar and looks way too cute!!
I first stamped the jar to a cardstock and then stamped the individual roses with the jar set. I used additional three roses to make a bouquet and a few leaves to make the flower arrangement. The white panel had a 3D Embossed image done with the WRMK Embossing folders and have a little distressing done to highlight the effect of the embossing. The while jar and the flowers arrangement is struck to the cardstock with dimensional foam tape to give is a raised and dimensional look
Here's the stamp set used!
I do hope that you like the creations and do tell me what you feel about these. Stay tuned for more inspirations from the Design Team members and this month you will have a whole lot of super crazy fun and creations from all of us!!
Happy Crafting!
