Bookmarks Galore!

Hello Everyone!!!

This is Manu here and I have some really pretty bookmarks done with the new June release of PABD.
Before heading over to the bookmarks, Do remember to participate in the blog hop that PABD is hosting for this month, find all the details in the link below along with the information about the new challenge for this month. This month it's all about  using your new and old stamps!

Lets checkout the bookmarks that I make!

The challenge this time around was to use the new release and the old stamps simultaneously into the projects!! Here's what I made

These sentiments are from the new release called 'Positive Quotes' and for the embellies, I have picked up the 2 old stamps known as 'Summer Cooler' and 'Chirping away'
Here are the stamps that I have used!!!

The Mandala stamp is probably one of the best stamps in this collection, with endless possibilities, this stamp set is a must have!!
In the left bookmark, I have stamped the flowers from the mandala onto a cardstock and arranged this floral arrangement onto the base of the bookmark. Seeing the leaves there, that also is taken from a mandala in this collection. The right hand side bookmark is a color riot!! I have tried to incorporate a lot of colors in this one!!

Here are the stamp sets used!

Think of bookmarks and none for the books?? Not possible, right, so this set is esp for the bookworms!!!!

I hope you all liked the bookmarks and will surely try these stamps for something other than cards!! I loved making these!!

Projects featuring Roundy Sentiments

Hello and good morning! ^__^

I'm Halak and today I'll be showing you some projects with a fantastic stamp set called Roundy Sentiments.

But before that, let me remind you, today's the last day of the month and tomorrow we have the new release launch over at Peek-a-boo Designs!

Super psyched about it! Fabulous set of products releasing tomorrow!

You probably might even get to see a sneak peek or two... but shhh... you didn't hear it from me... :D

So.. here's a look at the stamp set :

I love circle text because it's unconventional and fun!

This stamp set has a great mix of sentiments and patterns so you can build your entire project without the use of additional stamp sets.

Let's check out the projects one by one, shall we?

Starting with this bookmark that I made :

The sentiment is a sticker from my stash.

I used a cool color scheme of blues and greens for it.

Tip : I wanted to embellish the project but wanted it to be functional as a bookmark, so I used flat sequins.
If you use cup sequins, it will ruin the book pages and the sequins could get crushed when the weight of the book is too much.
Hence, while making a project do think about what you want to use it for and embellish it accordingly.

Next up is this birthday card.

A CAS project, I used pastel colors for the patterns and Archival black ink by Ranger for sentiment from the set.

The butterflies and the stamped heart are coated in fine glitter.

And here's an envelope.

I masked the top half of the envelope before stamping to be able to write stuff on it.

Tip : Notice the sentiment on this project. In the stamp set it is quite big + runs continuous and I didn't want it repeating while stamping so I masked it such that the sentiment is stamped without repetition.
If I were making a bigger project like a card or a layout, I would keep the entire sentiment.

So this brings us to an end of this blog post. I hope you enjoyed reading it! Which project is your favorite? I'd love to know!

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great day! *Hugs*

MONSTROUS Creations !

Hello Friends

Sharada Dilip here , I am sharing creations with our MONSTROUS Stamp Set Today

The cute little monsters stole my heart instantly , My son was jumping with joy as he said they were something he would love to receive !

He suggested a Card , a gift Tag and some Book marks !!

Isnt that an-awesome set ....what a kid would love receiving??

For the Card we decided a theme where my son wanted them to be exploring the sky !

I have stamped the monsters as a  background, unevenly as the monsters or aliens as he says float in the blue sky !
The rocket is stamped and fussy cut and colored with water color pens
The silver punched stars are added to complete the Birthday card

The Gift tag matches the card with similar elements but this little fellow had googly eyes and he's all set to come to the party  !

Finally the Book Marks that we wanted was more of fun !

The water colour paper is layered with gesso and then we colured it with water colour crayons
It was fun mixing colours and getting this kind of back ground !

The monsters are stamped and watercoloured then  fussy cut and adhered along with line we wanted on the book mark !!

Book-a-sur is a totally Indian Book mark :P, Book monster and eye think of you always are soo adorable !!

Here is the stampset used

I hope to have inspired you,  Do remember to link up your entries for this month's challenge!
I love to hear from you & truly appreciate your feedback.

Happy Crafting!
