Challenge Inspiration by Pavitra Chanchal

Hello Lovely People there!!!!

We have an amazing challenge going on for the month of December , you can find out the details here. The theme is Anything but a card along with fun grid to choose items from. I created a mixed media canvas as an inspiration.

Have a look....

 For this canvas i applied a coat of white gesso, stamped the canvas with background Blotchy stamps. Next applied the washi tape Blooming Beauty .Color the canvas with spray inks.

Stamped the flowers from Preety roses stamp set and color with pencil colors. Die cut white cardstock with circle die and Die cut brown cardstock with Chole die

Arrange the flowers cutouts and various elements as shown.

Hello My Dear Friends!!!!

I am Pavitra here with a mixed media canvas that i will be flaunting on my home wall. I used dies cuts for creating a layered effect.

Have a look !!!

Here is how i created the canvas

Die cut white cardstock using Chole die and Stitched Hexagonal die.

Layer gauge and torn papers on the canvas first and than layer die cuts.Cover the entire canvas with white gesso and leave it to dry.

Once dried properly color the canvas with paints and sprays. Darken the egdes of the die cuts using green and black paint .

In between the Chole die cut color with blue paint and on the edges use bronze 3D paint.

For a golden touch use inka gold and rub randomly on the entire canvas.

Stamp the flower image from A Little Not stamp set on iris cardstock and color using pencil colors , fussy cut and arrange on the canvas as shown,

First, I would like to share with you mixed media canvas using Peek-a-boo designs new products 

here, background is created using PABD Grid stencil, acrylic paints and ink sprays, washi tapes. I am in love with these newest Gear dies ... I cut 2 designs from Gear die, adhered them together. For more interest attached arrow charm in the middle....the theme for canvas is masculine.

I have created this tag using PABD Scallop circle die, dual leaf die and Floral fantasy stamp, Dream word die and Enamel dots.

Fairy Canvas by Shilpa

Hello Everyone,

Shilpa here,

I am sharing with you another mixed media canvas using Peek-a-boo designs stamps, stencil and dies.

 

Peek-a-boo designs have so many wonderful stamps, I just love to incorporate them differently on my different creations.

For the background, I used Peek-a-boo designs' Graceful Lattice Die cut.

For next layer of texture I used Bubbles Stencil with modelling paste. 

When it dried completely I spritzed Lindy's stamp gang teal, Pink and Purple inks randomly on the surface.

For the focal point I die cut oval  from Dual Stitched Oval. Colored the oval with inks.

Stamped fairy from Magical Fairies stamp set on  it.  

 Flowers are Peonies Love Stamp set. I stamped them with black Archival ink and colored with watercolor markers.

After adding lace and pearls, my canvas was ready.

Do try different stamps, stencil and die designs on your creations.. it is total fun!!

Create Your Own Magic- by Shilpa

Shilpa here,

Super excited to share my very first project here with Peek-a-boo Designs!

I created this mixed media canvas using many new products from Peek- a Boo designs.

Background texture is done with Leafy Delight stencil and Modelling  paste. I used Colour Arte silks Acrylics for background colors.

Flowers are from Humming Blossom Stamp set. I stamped them with black archival ink and colored with Watercolor markers.

 Another beautiful flower stamp set is new at Peek-a-boo, Poppies Bunch...

And I am totally in love with this Magical Fairies stamp set... they are cutest!!
