Design Team Reveal - October to December 2017

Hi everyone !! Are you guyes excited ?? Finally things are taking shape and we are here with an awesome team after almost a year. We missed sharing new inspirations with you. But now that we are back we are sure we will be able to add new creativity and products to inspire you. 

Peek-a-boo Designs has had some remarkable & talented designers on our previous teams and we are thrilled to be able to continue in this tradition with these new team members as well.

What an amazing design team call we just finished. Peek-a-boo Designs received applications from so many talented designers all over the world! Thank you to each and every one of you that took the time to submit your work, it is truly appreciated.

We are happy to announce the new Design Team that will finish off 2017 with us are:

Daksha Popat (Kolkata, India)  -  Designer

I am Daksha from  Kolkata, India. I am a homemaker n artist/crafter by profession. I am a mother of two lovely kids n have a very supportive husband,who is my strength. I am into Tanjore, vrindavani ,pichawai ,mural paintings...My paper crafting journey started almost 7 years back.

Halak Shah (Mumbai, India) - Designer & Blog Challenge Co-ordinator

I'm Halak from Mumbai, (India) and gotta admit, so very humbled, excited and happy to be on the design team for a second term! 

Academically a CS but a curious papercrafter at heart. Whatever spare time I get, I use it to make cards and reconnect with art. I absolutely love working with stamps and stencils.

LeeAnn McKinney (Florida, USA) - Designer & Primary Blog Co-ordinator

A little about me, my name is LeeAnn. I am 50 years young, with a wonderful husband that supports my fun. He is always there to encourage me and always wants to see my work as soon as it is finished, I do believe he is my biggest fan. I also have a wonderful family of daughters, son in laws and grandchildren who are the inspiration for many of my layouts, and card projects.

While I am a clean and simple type papercrafter, I am exploring more of the options out there with layouts and mini albums. I love designing and bringing inspiration to the teams followers, so they too can see what is possible. 

Dream it, Create it!!! Creativity is not wrong, it is therapy!!!

Pavitra Chanchal (New Delhi, India) - Designer

Hello! My name is Pavitra chanchal . I live in New Delhi, India. I am married and mother of 2 year old little one. Beside the little munchkin, crafting keeps me happy and busy. My crafting journey started with scrapbooking and trying out different crafty things. Mixed media ,handmade cards ,altered art are my all time favourite projects to work on. I like to try out different techniques and create cards or projects with detailing.

Preety Dutt ( New Delhi, India) - Designer

Hi! I'm Preeti Datta (aka Dutt Preety)

I've studied Clinical Psychology and work as a Psychologist and Talent Acquisition Specialist. 

I love paper crafting and have an eclectic style. 

I mostly make Mixed Media and Clean and Simple Projects.

Card making is my passion and I also like making layouts, tags, canvases and doing art journalling.

Priyadarshini Deshpande (Piyu) - (Pune, India) -  Designer

I am Priyadarshini Deshpande fondly known as Piyu amongst my friends. I am a software engineer by the day and a crafter by the night.

 I started card making in 2008. Back then, I was just into paper quilling. I started stamping to enhance my quilled cards. Soon it took over quilling and now it is mainly stamping and coloring.

I am fond of floral water-colored cards and fun scenes with cute gritters. Currently I am exploring copic markers and hoping to get better with them soon.

Ruchi's Crafeteria (North Carolina, USA) - Designer

I’m Ruchi Agarwal from India right now living in Charlotte, North Carolina USA. I’m a mom of a grown up boy n enjoying motherhood along with crafting :-)

With Masters degree with me ...I was earlier into Teaching Profession. Well now changed myself as a Crafter and named my small firm ‘Ruchi’s Crafeteria’. Totally Handmade Products Like Greeting Cards, Bookmarks, Gift Tags, Albums and Other Paper Items.

Valerie  Andrieux (Texas , USA) - Designer

French designer, mom of two, I started scrapbooking more than 10 years ago in Texas. I did move a lot since then, but my crafty stash is always traveling with me so I can create where ever I am.

Fussy cutting and bright colors are my favorite things in crafting, but mixed media has grown in my heart too... I love to create scrapbook layouts, cards, altered objects and canvas. This hobby is now a big part of my life and I try to create something everyday. I share my work as often as I can on different social medias (bonjourscrap is my nickname), and I can wait to share my Peek-a-boo Designs projects with you

Vinita Jain ( New Delhi , India) 

I am Vinita Jain from New Creations, a retired Kindergarten teacher, living with my hubby, in-laws and two loving grown up children. Thank you for the opportunity to be considered as part of your fantastic Design Team!

I loved arts and crafts since my childhood. Paints, papers, scissors and everything in between are my biggest passion. I am blogging from last 3 years.

I love making cards, stamping, stencilling,  canvases, mixed media projects, decoupage work and altered arts. This is why I love your crafting products, for the pure fact, there is so much variety, which really suits me! Would love to try all sorts of crafting products and let my creativity just flow! I especially love water colouring using different techniques and mediums every time!

Vijaylaxmi Siyal ( Nathdwara , India) - Idea Manager & Designer

Lastly we have  Vijaylaxmi Siyal...Working as a Junior Engineer , RRVPNL at Nathdwara(Rajasthan). She loves to craft n upcycling. Crafting relaxes her and gives some happiness n peace to her heart n soul.. It started off as a hobby and on appreciation from tons of art lovers she took this hobby to next level.

DT Introduction - July to December 2016

Hi every one!!

As promised I'm here with all the DT's introductions .. Im in love with this new team !! They are super versetile and each every ones style is unique and different from each other !!

We have Daksha from  Kolkata, India. Who a homemaker n artist/crafter by profession. She is a mother of two lovely kids n has a very supportive husband,who is her strength. She was  into Tanjore, vrindavani ,pichawai ,mural paintings... Her paper crafting journey started almost 7 years back. 

Favorite Style/Strength: 3D CARDS  ||  Mixed-media || Image Stamping || 

Next we have Halak from Mumbai , India and is super psyched to be on the design team for a second term! . She is a commerce graduate, learnt painting and charcoal sketching during school days but had to quit because of studies. Now that majority of studies is over, she use all her spare time to make cards and reconnect with Art. She absolutely love working with stamps.

Favorite Style/Strength: Whimsical  ||  Mixed-media || CAS || 

We have Juhi from Singapore. She is  a stamping fanatic. Though she have been crafting in some form or the other since she was a child, she started serious stamping early last year. She love to learn and explore new stamping techniques with water coloring being her favorite right now. She also love to teach crafts.

Favorite Style/Strength: Altered Projects ||  CAS ||

Martha was born in Colombia, but lives in Miami, USA. Her first language is Spanish, which is why her blog is written in Spanish; but don’t worry, she have a translate button. She has studied Social Communications and Journalism, but she has loved crafts forever. She used to work with metal jewelry, but one day she discovered stamps, ink and paper, and now it is her passion. She has realized that working with paper crafts is the best therapy. 

She live with her husband and her two daughters.She divide her time between her family, her work in a Public Relations Company and her passions which is her blog and crafting on various design teams. She love to create cards, and alter different projects because she love to learn new techniques.

 We have Nadia who is  35 years old.and  lives in Ukraine.She have a loving husband and a wonderful little girl of 5 years. Scrapbooking is hobby for her. She am madly in love with it now for 4 years.She love the brightness and believe in miracles! 

Favorite Style/Strength: Layouts ||  Mixed Media || 

Ria Banerjee from Kolkata, India. She is 24 years old, a teacher by profession and also gearing up for the research field. Painting is her hobby from which she got into Card making. She love Clean and simple designs, which have caught her attention right from the time when she thought of making a card. She also love to try her hands on other techniques and styles. 

Favorite Style/Strength: CAS || 

We have got Shilpa who stay at Bangalore, India. She painted since childhood. Originally she was  a card maker, hooked to Mixed media couple of years back. And now creating journal pages, canvas and playing with mixed medias is her passion. Usually her creations are vibrant, Lively and colorful. Her art keeps her sane.

Apart from art she is a voracious reader and enjoy cooking!

We have Swapna, from Karnataka. She loves Emroidery, specially Karnataka Kasuti. Earlier she used to make Embroidered cards.

She came across stamps and all recently about 2 years back. Slowly developed interest in making cards. About year back she came across Stencils and slowly she started using them again and again. For many colouring is relaxing but for her ink blending does that job.

Lastly we have  Vijaylaxmi Siyal...Working as a Junior Engineer , RRVPNL at Nathdwara(Rajasthan). She loves to craft n upcycling.
