Plaid design card + New FEB launch!

Hello Everyone!

This is Manu here and I'm sure you must have seen the new FEB launch by Peek-A-Boo Designs.
This month's launch has some really nice stamps and yes, there's a HINDI sentiment stamp tooo, for all those who wish to address their greetings in the Indian language, can now do so very nicely. Do check this new hindi stamp!! Apart from this stamp, there is also a 'Bold hugs 'N' Love' and a 'Bold You' stamp sets which are very very versatile and these stamps are very useful for making your own quotations!

I have used the Plaid stamp set to make this card!

It's super easy to make and this set ia very versatile and can help you make your own back grounds for the cards!!!

Here's the procedure on how this works!

I first experimented which inks would works best with these stamps (I have Ranger and the Memento inks, hence have worked with these)

I first stamped a little to see around which of the inks would give a bright and happy colors and found that the Memento will give me the shades I wanted for the card. The top 2 lines are done with the Memento and the bottom ones are done with the Ranger inks.

Then I took another panel and started stamping diagonally with the plaid stamp in multiple colors, make sure that you wipe off the color when you choose the next color to stamp!

Flip the paper and make the diagonals again !This is how my panel looks like! Once I was satisfied, I began assembling for the quote!

I stamped the YOU and then placed my co-ordinating smaller stamps in the position I would have liked to have my quote.

Finally mounted the card on a black cardstock!!

I also made another set of cards with the HOLI stamp set that was launched!!

Here's a peek!

Since Holi is just around the corner, I thought of making a few holi cards !!
I hope you liked my cards and do play along with the FEB months challenge which is nothing but a Tic-Tac-toe!! so you get to choose and mix and match!!!

Read all about the challenge here

Happy Crafting!
Manu
