Sunila and Aditi- GDT Part 2

Hello everyone,

Sunila and Aditi here and we're back with a few more projects to inspire you all :)!

Today for our first project, we've created a set of two Artist Trading Cards. Here's a look at them. We really had fun creating these. We first die cut two pieces of cardstock with the ticket die. Next, we stamped a few images with black ink from the Blotchy Stamp Set. We then used a stencil and went around with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed it. Next, we used another stencil with lighter tones of distress inks. We then stamped the blotchy flower for our focal image and layers it with gauge, flowers and pollen. We completed the cards with some motivational words.

Our second project is a CAS Card. We used washi tape for the border. Die cut the smallest ticket die, and stamped our sentiment, and our focal element is watercoloured with distress inks. We layered it all and completed it with some enamel dots.

Our last project is a two-page journal spread. We had fun playing in our journal clearly and worked on our background the most. We've used Washi, stamps, Stencils and just played around!

We hope that we've inspired you and got your creative juices flowing!
Thank you Vidushi for this opportunity, we've had fun creating these projects!

Sunila and Aditi- GDT Part 1

Hello everyone,

Sunila and Aditi here from Dots to Lines and we are honoured to be Guest Designing for Peek-a-Boo Designs.

Vidushi sent us a great package of goodies and got our creative juices flowing. So we've created a few projects to inspire you all.

Today we'll be sharing two of our projects and we will be back with a few more soon.

So first up is this, frame style card, which makes a great gift.

For this card, we use the Ticket Die and cut a piece of cardstock. We used a bigger piece, so the negative makes a frame for our card. We then used foam tape around the border and stuck it to the base to create a frame. Next, we used Washi and adhered it inside. Using the same ticket die, but a smaller size, we cut our panel. We lifted some misted distress inks from a craft mat for our background colour. We then used the same inks and a stamp from the Blotchy set to add interest to the background. Our focal image was heat set in two colours and fussy cut. We adhered it to the panel with foam tape for depth. We stamped our sentiment, and added the panel to the centre of the frame, with foam tape. That completed our card :)!

Next, we've created a mixed media style layout! We've used a stencil and modelling paste for our background; various stamps from the blotchy set for the background as well. We've combined, stamps and dies for our layering. We've also used washi on the background for more interest.

We hope that you're inspired!

Crafty inspiration with stamps!

Hello dear friends!

I'm back over at PABD with a quick post featuring some of the fantastic stamps that you saw in the new release yesterday.

My first project is a card made using the Bookworms stamp set. It is such a versatile set because it has a boy image and a girl image. This would be a perfect  accompaniment to a present of some boks to an avid little reader.

The sentiment actually reads "Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be" but since I was keeping the project CAS I decided to mix it up with a sticker as an embellishment.

Colored with Staedtler colored pencils, added some glitter to bows in her hair, some of that gorgeous washi tape (Rainbow Hues, also by PABD) to a side and finished the project with a tiny flower embellishment.

Let's check out the second set of projects:

I love making ATCs so a co-ordinating set was about to begin the moment I saw the Floral Direction stamp set.

This stamp set, without a doubt is my favorite from the new release.

How could I not use Blotchy set from the last release with this set! These two sets go together like peanut butter and jelly!

I created the background with Color Bursts and Brushos, stamped Blotchy using Distress Oxides and stamped Floral Direction using Versafine.
Colored the blooms with Sakura pens, added washi and glitter.

I have used the Rainbow Hues & Boho Feathers washis in the ATCs, simply cause I just can't get enough of these beauties!

Priced at just Rs. 135/- you definitely gotta check these out... the variety and colors will blow your mind!
