Hi.. Crafty friends over at Peek-a-boo designs..

Here I am with my last post. I have two cards for the blog today.

Before coming to my cards here I would like to thank you all for all the love and support you showered on me throughout my journey at Peek-a-boo designs. It was my pleasure to work with such talented team. I really thank every team member of Peek-a-boo and Vidushi off-course for believing in my work.

Card  #1

* I die cut small circles and hearts using Peek-s-boo dies.
* Stamped sentiment with grey ink .
* Glued the grey panel on card front and adhered red hearts in the circle.
* Applied clear wink of stella and glossy accent on hearts to make them pop.

I will really try my best to be in touch with you all through my Blog and Page.

Card #2

* I stamped the floral image on kraft CS using a brown ink. I stamped same image on a scrap of kraft panel.
* Coloured the panel with steadler pencils.
* Stamped sentiment with copper metallic ink so that the focus to be on flowers.
* Foam mounted the panel on card front so that it merges with the stamped image and sentiment on the background.

Hope you all liked my cards..

2 cards with Distressed background - Swapna

Hi.. Friends..
Its been a long time i posted here. I have 2 cards for you today. I wanted to make a shaker card from past few days. So i have one shaker card.

Card #1

* The panel I used for both cards is same.
* I gold heat embossed the floral bloom image on a white CS and applied distress inks.
* I die cut the panel with stitched scallop rectangle  dies (used both on same panel).
* Glued frames together and used doubled foam tape to create my shaker well.
* Heat embossed sentiment from Birdie stamp set.
* Used different coloured sequins and secured the frame on card base.

Here is the card

Card #2

This was very easy to put together as most elements were ready.

* I used remainders of frame for this card.
* I glued both pieces on an acetate.
* Heat embossed image and sentiment from magical fairies on vellum.
* Glued the vellum on the panel and the whole panel was mounted on card base with foam tape.

** Only reason to use acetate was to avoid cutting thin strips of foam tape.

Here is my card

Here is the closer look at the panel and sentiment.

 Hope you liked them..

Thank you cards, sending happy mail with Swapna

Hi.. Crafty friends...

Here I am with my second DT post. To be frank I really struggled and liked the process of these 3 cards. At the end I am pretty happy with my cards.

I hope you are playing along with our October challenge which is a recipe. Please do read Guidelines carefully before linking your project.

Card #1
** First card is inspiration for our october challenge.
** I masked the card base (1"around the card base), placed the stencil diagonally on the base and secured with masking tape.
** I mixed candid apple distress ink with texture paste, applied it through stencil. Left it dry on its own.
** Die cut the scalloped frame (bigger) with same CS, few vellum fern flourishes and one white fern flourish.
** I double heat embossed the CS fern flourish with gold embossing powder to give it dimension. Die cut few Thank you, adhered them together and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
** To assemble the card, I foam mounted the frame on card base around the stencilled area. I put silver embroidery floss on top of which glued ferns. Added the sentiment.

Here is a close up of die cut embellishments, just love this texture of white embossing powder.

Card #2

** This was real fun to make. I just kept die cutting stitched bubble die.
** Used distress inks in blue range to blend over them.
** I stamped the image towards bottom and coloured with Staedler water colour pencils.
** Stamped sentiment with black ink.
** Used stitched rectangle die to die cut these panels.
** I glued these panels with liquid glue leaving little space in between.

Here is a closer look of die cut

Card #3

** This is water colour card. I stamped the flourish image with versa mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
** Used zig markers to colour flowers and leaves.
** Die cut the panel and foam mounted it on a grey CS.
** For sentiment, I die cut 2 times with grey CS and once with water colour paper.
** I used Zig marker to add shade to the die cut sentiment.
** Added few sequins.
